The College is having N.C.C.under 1st(O) Arty Bty unit with 110 cadets. ( SD)
The object of N.C.C.training for boys is
(i) to develop personality,
(ii) to develop self-confidence,
(iii) to build up physique and courage,
(iv) to teach those subjects which would be useful during emergency and in day-to-day life.

The aim of N.C.C.training is to prepare the cadets for the Certificate ‘B’ and ‘C’ examinations. The training period for the senior Boys division and is 3 years.In special case a cadet can be given extension for one more year.At the end of the second year of training cadets are qualified to appear in ‘B’ Certificate examination and at the end of third year, they are eligible to appear at the ‘c’ Certificate examination. Cadets who pass ’B’ and ‘C’ Certificate examination or represent the State in the various camps and courses,get additional advantage of marks over and above the marks they have secured in the aggregate in their last Board or Council Examination during admission to the next higher class in degree stage.

INCENTIVES AND ADVANTAGES :
1. Recruitments :
(a) 24 vacancies in a year and reserved for N.C.C Certificate holders in IMA if qualified by UPSC and SSB.
(b) Certificate holders are given weightage for recruitment in the Army and BSF/CRPF/Paramilitary organisations.
(c) Preference is given to Certificate holders even with lower marks at Degree while considering gazetted positions of CRPF.
(d) Certificate holders with athletic proficiency are directly recruited as Asst. Commandant of CISF, Coast Guard. Indo Tribbetan Border and Policy.

2. Scholarship / Cash Awards
( a) Scholarship of of Rs.100/-per month of S.D.cadets of one year.
(b) Cash award of Rs.500/- is given to each cadets participating in the RDC.

3. Prizes/Medals :
(a) Gold medals valued at Rs.3.000/- are awarded to the best SD/JD/SW/JW cadets.
(b) Free Mufti is provided to cadets who participate in RCD/PMs Rally.

4. Academic Concessions ‘A’,’B’ and ‘C’Cerfifate holders are granted additional weithtage of 2%,3% and 5% marks respectively at the time of admission into degree course. Additional weightage of 5% is given to cadets who have represented at the ALL India Level.

5. Camp/Course-Besides awarding B and C Certificates respectively the NCC Organisation conducts the following camps and course at both State and National level. Additional weightage of 5% is also given to cadets who complete any of the following courses.
(a) Basic and Advanced Leadership Courses.
(b) Basic and Advanced Mountaineering Courses.
(c) Parasailling and Parajumping courses.
(d) Water and show ski courses.
(e) Annual training camp.
(f) Republic Day camp.
(g) Guidance Camps.
(h) Trekking expenditions
(i) Your exchange programme with Canada, London, Singapore, Bangladesh, Nepal for selected cadets only in All India Level.
